- A cada becario se le asignará a un mentor que se esté desempeñando profesionalmente en una carrera a fin a la que esté estudiando. El mentor guiará al estudiante a lo largo de su carrera universitaria. Mantendrán reuniones de seguimiento mensualmente.

Estudiante. Esto es para ti. Creemos en ti. Creemos que debes tener la oportunidad de cambiar tu vida, el futuro de tu familia, y por qué no, cambiar el país. Nos esforzamos por ofrecer el mayor número de becas posibles. Si no hay suficientes fondos para ayudarte financieramente, buscaremos según sea posible proveerte de un mentor.
Por favor, ten en cuenta que, dado que los recursos son limitados, nuestro proceso de selección es muy riguroso. Si no eres seleccionado para una de nuestras becas, ni siquiera consideres que es porque no eres lo suficientemente bueno. En cualquier caso, sería porque no fuimos capaces de satisfacer la demanda. Para el año académico de 2020, nuestro objetivo es proporcionar las siguientes becas:
- 7 Becas de Matrícula
El periodo de aplicación será del 25 de Noviembre al 8 de Diciembre de 2019. Se contactará a los candidatos seleccionados para una entrevista (que puede ser en persona o por videoconferencia). Después del período de entrevistas todos los solicitantes serán notificados de las decisiones finales. Los nombres de los candidatos seleccionados se publicarán en esta página a partir del 31 de Diciembre de 2019.
Aún cuando, la necesidad económica y el rendimiento académico son los factores más importantes para la selección, analizamos a cada candidato de manera integral. Todas las aplicaciones deben ser enviadas a más tardar a las 11:59pm de la fecha límite. Sólamente aceptaremos aplicaciones sometidas a través de los links provistos en esta página. Criterios de Selección
- Índice Académico de al menos 75% en los 2 años académicos anteriores.
- Pasar la Prueba de Aptitud Académica de la UNAH.
- Matricular al menos 4 clases por período.
Antes de aplicar favor ten listos los siguientes documentos:
- Boleta de calificaciones de los últimos 2 periodos académicos.
- Si eres estudiante de 1er ingreso, serían tus calificaciones finales de los últimos 2 años de secundaria.
- Si eres estudiante de reingreso, serían las boletas de calificaciones de los últimos 2 semestres.
- Tres recomendaciones:
- Una académica: de un profesor que te haya impartido clases.
- Una de una actividad extracurricular (si eres miembro de una iglesia, voluntariado o cualquier otra organización que hayas participado activamente).
- Una personal (de amigos/conocidos que no sean miembros de tu familia).
- Fotocopia de tu tarjeta de identidad (o Acta de Nacimiento).

Tuition Scholarship*
- This is a scholarship of $75.00 per student.
- Covers the cost of Tuition and (some) books.**
- Each scholar will be assigned to a mentor who is currently playing a successful professional role in the career (or a related field) the student is pursuing. This mentor will guide the student through your college career. They shall have monthly follow-up meetings.
- Our goal is to provide 7 Tuition Scholarships for 2020!
Students. It is all about you. We believe in you. We believe you should have an opportunity to change your life, the future of your family, and why not, to change the nation. We strive to provide as many scholarships as possible. If there are not enough funds to help you financially, we will aim to at least provide you a mentor.
Please keep in mind that, because resources are limited, our selection process is pretty rigorous. If you don’t get selected for one of our scholarships, don’t think it was because you are not good enough. In any case it would be because we were not able to meet the demand. For the 2020 Academic Year, our goal is to award the following scholarships:
- 7 Tuition Scholarships
The application period will start on November 25th and will end on December 8th, 2019. The selected candidates will be contacted for an interview (which may be in person, by video-conference or telephone). After the interview process all applicants will be notified of the final decisions. The names of the selected candidates will be posted on this page starting December 31st, 2019.
Although, economic need & academic performance are the most important factors for selection, we analyze each candidate holistically. All applications must be submitted by 11:59pm of the due date. We will only accept applications submitted using the links on this page. Selection criteria:
- Minimum of 75% academic average in each of the past 2 school years.
- Passing score in the UNAH’s Academic Aptitude Test.
- Register at least 4 classes per period (trimester or semester depending on the program).
Prior to starting your application, please make sure you have ready the following required documents:
- Transcripts of the 2 most recent academic years.
- If you are an 1st year student, it would be transcripts from your last 2 years of high school.
- If you are a re-entry student, it would be transcripts from your 2 most recent semesters.
- Three recommendations:
- Academic: from a professor.
- Extracurricular activity (includes church, school clubs or any other organization you have actively participated with).
- Personal (from a friend/acquaintance who are not your family members).
- A copy of your ID (or birth certificate).
